American Express confirms Dobson for 2026

American talent Ava Dobson has officially secured her place on the 2026 F1 ACADEMY grid, joining as an official partner entry with American Express. The 17-year-old American driver marks the fourth Wild Card entrant from last season to transition into a full-time seat in the all-female series. Dobson, who debuted at her home event in Miami, will continue to race a Hitech-operated car. Her racing journey began in 2023 with the Formula 4 United States Championship, followed by appearances in USF Juniors and USF2000. In 2025, she achieved her first podium at Donington Park, becoming the highest-scoring female driver. Dobson expressed immense excitement about the partnership and her upcoming season.
