Emma Felbermayr secured her first F1 ACADEMY victory of the 2026 season in Shanghai after capitalizing on a late error by leader Alba Larsen. Felbermayr navigated a chaotic race that saw the leader lose control during a Safety Car restart, allowing her to hold off a spirited challenge from Alisha Palmowski to cross the finish line by just two-tenths of a second. Behind the leaders, Payton Westcott finished third, marking a successful debut weekend as the top rookie. The race was marred by several incidents involving multiple drivers, while Nina Gademan, Ella Lloyd, and Rafaela Ferreira rounded out the top finishers. The series will now head to Montreal for its next round in May following the cancellation of the Jeddah event.
