Antonelli 'getting the confidence back' with Mercedes car in Hungary

Andrea Kimi Antonelli expressed renewed confidence in his Mercedes car after a promising Friday at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Italian rookie, who has faced recent struggles, found an upturn in form after Mercedes reverted to an older suspension specification. Antonelli finished seventh in FP1 and tenth in FP2, noting the car felt "completely different" and that he's "getting the confidence back." Teammate George Russell also reported a positive step forward for Mercedes following their difficulties in Belgium, securing seventh in FP2. However, Russell cautioned that the Silver Arrows still lag behind the leading teams, emphasizing the need for further improvements ahead of Sunday's race in Budapest.
