WATCH: Albon causes red flag after FP2 off at the Dutch GP
Alex Albon caused the second red flag of Free Practice 2 at the Dutch Grand Prix after a significant crash at Zandvoort's Turn 1.
The Williams driver locked up heavily, sliding across the gravel and into the barriers, an incident reminiscent of Max Verstappen's FP1 off.
Suffering front wing damage, Albon attempted to reverse but became beached, necessitating a session stoppage.
This marked the second red flag of FP2, following Lance Stroll's earlier Turn 3 incident.
Albon was running 15th fastest at the time of his unfortunate departure from the track.
