Leonardo Fornaroli of Invicta Racing claimed his second pole position of the Formula 2 season in a thrilling qualifying session at the Austrian Grand Prix. The Italian driver delivered a crucial improvement on his final flying lap, narrowly edging out ART Grand Prix's Victor Martins by a mere 0.014 seconds.
MP Motorsport's Richard Verschoor completed the top three, highlighting the incredibly tight competition with just 0.024 seconds separating the top three. Amaury Cordeel secured his career-best F2 qualifying in fifth, while championship leader Alexander Dunne recovered from a difficult start to snatch P7.
