Albon ‘very happy’ to return to points at Silverstone

Alex Albon secured a much-needed P8 finish at the British Grand Prix, ending a three-race streak of DNFs and bringing renewed morale to Williams. Starting 13th, Albon expertly navigated mixed conditions, rising to third at one point before demonstrating strong pace on slick tyres to clinch points. He expressed delight, highlighting a crucial battle with Fernando Alonso on the final lap. In contrast, teammate Carlos Sainz endured another "frustrating" day, finishing 12th after contact with Charles Leclerc. Sainz, who felt he was having a "solid race" fighting for points, attributed his consistent bad luck to factors outside his control, expressing fatigue with the season's challenges.
