Crawford set for next FP1 run with Aston Martin in Belgium

Aston Martin has officially confirmed that reserve driver Jak Crawford will return to the cockpit for the first Free Practice session at the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix. This marks Crawford's third FP1 outing of the 2026 season, fulfilling one of the team's mandatory rookie practice requirements. During the session, the 21-year-old American will take over Fernando Alonso's AMR26. Crawford has previously logged practice time in Japan and Austria this year, building on his experience from the 2025 season. His ongoing development with the team has also included significant testing, such as a recent Pirelli tyre test in Barcelona and a promotional run at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
