F2: Beganovic flies in Madrid to take second pole of 2026

Dino Beganovic secured his second pole position of the 2026 F2 season at the Madring circuit, clocking a 1:44.331. The DAMS Lucas Oil and Ferrari Driver Academy driver edged out Rodin Motorsport’s Alexander Dunne, who finished in second place, while championship contender Rafael Camara took third for Invicta Racing. The qualifying session was heavily disrupted by three red flag incidents. Despite the interruptions, Beganovic managed to improve his time in the final moments to seal the top spot. Rafael Camara, who had struggled earlier in the session, delivered a clutch performance on his final lap to jump from 14th to 3rd place, keeping his championship hopes alive against leader Nikola Tsolov, who qualified fifth.
