Fornaroli leads Invicta 1-2 in Hungary Feature Race
Leonardo Fornaroli clinched his maiden FIA Formula 2 Feature Race victory in Budapest, extending his championship lead despite a five-second time penalty. Starting second, Fornaroli expertly used an overcut to pass Invicta Racing teammate Roman Stanek for the lead. Although penalized for pit lane speeding, he skillfully built a 7.2-second gap, securing a dominant win. Stanek held off Jak Crawford to finish second, with Crawford taking third. Williams Driver Academy member Luke Browning impressed, finishing fourth ahead of title rival Richard Verschoor. This victory marks Fornaroli's third win in as many rounds.
