Hadjar admits mood at Red Bull is ‘not good’ after tricky start
Red Bull is facing a challenging start to the 2026 season following a difficult weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix. Isack Hadjar finished in 12th place, admitting the mood within the team is "not good" after a frustrating race marred by energy management issues. Starting from P8, Hadjar fell down the order early after losing battery power and getting stuck behind Arvid Lindblad, struggling to recover throughout the race.
Max Verstappen managed to secure P8, but with only 16 points collected this season, the team sits sixth in the Constructors' Championship. Verstappen conceded that the team is now competing in the midfield rather than for race wins. Hadjar emphasized the importance of the break before Miami, stating that the entire team is working hard to understand the car's issues and hoping for significant improvements in the next upgrade package.
