Hadjar endures ‘frustrating’ race thanks to car issue in Belgium
Racing Bulls experienced a mixed Belgian Grand Prix, with Liam Lawson delivering a strong performance while Isack Hadjar faced a frustrating race. Lawson secured a crucial eighth-place finish, his second points haul in three races, benefiting from a well-timed pit stop that allowed him to maintain pace and fend off rivals. In contrast, Hadjar's race was hampered by an undisclosed car issue and a seemingly suboptimal pit strategy early on, which saw him drop to the back of the field after initially running in the points. Despite his efforts to manage the problem, the Frenchman couldn't recover, expressing disappointment for the team. Racing Bulls now sit seventh in the Constructors' Championship, narrowing the gap to Kick Sauber and extending their buffer over Aston Martin.
