Hadjar endures ‘very, very long race’ after power problem in Singapore
The Singapore Grand Prix proved challenging for Racing Bulls, who left Marina Bay without points despite showing glimpses of pace. Isack Hadjar, starting in the top 10, was hampered by an engine issue that cost him approximately 0.5 seconds per lap, forcing him to nurse his car to an impressive P11 finish.
Team Principal Alan Permane acknowledged the power unit problem significantly impacted Hadjar's race. Meanwhile, Liam Lawson finished 15th, frustrated by a long first stint strategy that didn't pay off as hoped for a Safety Car. He expressed confusion over how Carlos Sainz, who pitted later, managed to secure points while he fell back, attributing some blame to a difficult qualifying.
