Hadjar explains Antonelli crash at Silverstone

Racing Bulls endured a dismal British Grand Prix, with both Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar retiring early from separate incidents, costing the team crucial points. Lawson's race ended on the opening lap following contact with Esteban Ocon, an incident stewards deemed a racing one. Hadjar, who gambled on slick tyres, later rear-ended Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes during a Safety Car restart. He cited zero visibility from heavy rain and cold tyres, an impact that unfortunately also ended Antonelli's race. Both drivers emerged uninjured. This double DNF proved costly for Racing Bulls, who plummeted to seventh in the constructors' standings, now level with Aston Martin, while Kick Sauber moved ahead. Lawson lamented the missed opportunity, believing they had a competitive car.
