Hamilton admits Ferrari was ‘very hard to drive’ at Silverstone
Lewis Hamilton endured a challenging British Grand Prix, ultimately missing out on a podium by five seconds, finishing fourth. The seven-time World Champion described his Ferrari as a “very hard car to drive” in Silverstone’s mixed conditions, struggling with understeer and tyre degradation.
Despite starting fifth and showing flashes of pace, the dream of a home podium narrowly slipped away as he chased Nico Hulkenberg in the closing stages. Hamilton admitted to making “plenty of mistakes” but found solace in the “amazing energy” from his home crowd, acknowledging the support and securing valuable points for the team.
