Hulkenberg hails Kick Sauber as ‘serious competitor’ in midfield
Nico Hulkenberg has lauded Kick Sauber's significant progress, asserting the team is now a "serious competitor" in the F1 midfield. Fresh off his maiden F1 podium at the British Grand Prix, where he secured a stunning P3, Hulkenberg highlighted the team's upward trajectory since introducing upgrades in Spain.
This momentum saw him claim P5 in Barcelona, followed by a double points finish in Austria and his Silverstone rostrum. While acknowledging the British GP's changing weather played a role, the 37-year-old emphasized Kick Sauber's consistent improvements. Their strong form has propelled them to P6 in the Constructors' Championship, just 18 points behind Williams, firmly establishing their presence in the intense midfield battle.
