Leclerc seeks 'miracle' after 'worst Friday of the season'
Charles Leclerc candidly described Ferrari's performance on the opening day of the Dutch Grand Prix as a "wake-up call" and "probably the worst Friday of the season." After a surprising pole in Hungary, Leclerc struggled significantly at Zandvoort, finishing Free Practice 2 in eighth place, nearly a second behind pace-setter Lando Norris. He acknowledged the challenge, stating that McLaren, along with Aston Martin, appeared to be "in a league of its own."
Meanwhile, teammate Lewis Hamilton offered a more optimistic assessment despite a couple of spins, finishing three places and 0.098s ahead of Leclerc, indicating some progress for his side of the garage.
