Mario Isola to leave Head of Motorsport role at Pirelli

Pirelli has announced a significant leadership change in its motorsport division, with Mario Isola set to depart as Head of Motorsport. Dario Marrafuschi will take over the crucial role, effective March 1, 2024. Isola, a long-standing figure at the tyre manufacturer, will remain until July 1 to ensure a smooth transition. Marrafuschi, who joined Pirelli in 2008 and has extensive experience in F1 Research and Development, will now oversee the company's motorsport operations. This transition comes as Pirelli prepares for the 2026 season, which will introduce new, narrower 18-inch tyres, highlighting the evolving technical demands on the sport's sole tyre supplier.
