Norris gives 'harsh' verdict on his season so far
Lando Norris, currently second in the World Championship, admits parts of his season were "not good enough," describing his early performance as "pretty average." Despite starting strongly with a win in Australia, his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri secured four victories before Norris's second win in Monaco. A collision with Piastri in Canada further complicated matters. However, since Round 11 in Austria, Norris has surged, clinching three wins, including the most recent in Hungary, significantly narrowing Piastri's championship lead to just eight points. The British driver is focused on continued improvement, stating he's in a much better place with the car and his performance, while maintaining his commitment to F1 during the upcoming summer break.
