Norris takes Las Vegas GP pole in wet Qualifying

Lando Norris defied wet conditions to clinch his third consecutive pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The McLaren driver, and current championship leader, put in a stellar performance, finishing nearly three-tenths ahead of Max Verstappen. Carlos Sainz impressively secured third for Williams, with George Russell and Oscar Piastri completing the top five. Piastri, Norris's title rival, had a moment at Turn 12, affecting his final run. The session saw several drivers struggle, including Lewis Hamilton who finished last, unable to find pace on the wet tyres. Alexander Albon also faced an early exit after hitting the barrier.
