Norris wins dramatic British GP as Hulkenberg takes P3
Lando Norris clinched a sensational victory at the British Grand Prix, delighting his home crowd with a dominant performance at Silverstone. The McLaren driver led a superb 1-2 finish for the team, with teammate Oscar Piastri securing second place despite an earlier time penalty.
The race, held in challenging wet-dry conditions, was packed with drama, featuring multiple safety car periods and strategic tyre changes. However, the biggest story belonged to Nico Hulkenberg, who impressively climbed from 19th on the grid to secure his long-awaited maiden F1 podium in third for Kick Sauber – a remarkable achievement in his 239th Grand Prix start. Max Verstappen recovered to fifth after a spin, while Lewis Hamilton took fourth in his first Silverstone outing with Ferrari.
