Watch FP3 action from Mexico as Norris tops timesheets
Lando Norris demonstrated dominant pace in Free Practice 3 at the Mexico City Grand Prix, topping the session by a significant margin. The McLaren driver set a blistering 1m 16.633s on soft tyres, outpacing Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari by over three tenths of a second. Title contender Oscar Piastri finished fifth, while championship rival Max Verstappen could only manage sixth, 0.609s off Norris's pace. Verstappen's struggles on the soft compound suggest a potentially challenging qualifying session for the Red Bull driver, with McLaren showing strong form ahead of the crucial battle for pole. George Russell and Charles Leclerc also finished ahead of Verstappen.
