Crawford to get another FP1 run with Aston Martin in Austria
Aston Martin has confirmed that reserve driver Jak Crawford will participate in the Free Practice 1 session at the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix. Crawford will take over Lance Stroll's AMR26 car for the hour-long session, marking his second FP1 appearance of the 2026 season.
Following extensive simulator work and a recent Pirelli tyre test in Barcelona, Crawford is prepared to provide valuable data for the team. Mike Krack, Aston Martin's Chief Trackside Officer, noted that this session is a vital part of the team's evaluation process for the 21-year-old's ongoing development in a race weekend environment.
