Aston Martin launch Driver Academy as Mari Boya becomes first signing
Aston Martin has officially launched its new Driver Academy, aiming to nurture the next generation of motorsport talent. Formula 3 sensation Mari Boya, a 21-year-old Spaniard with a recent Sprint Race victory in Barcelona and a podium in Monaco, has been announced as the program's inaugural signing.
The Academy is designed to identify, support, and develop exceptional drivers from karting through to single-seaters, offering comprehensive development including physical training, media coaching, and simulator sessions. Participants will also gain invaluable insight by attending Formula 1 race weekends. This initiative underscores Aston Martin's commitment to cultivating future racing stars, preparing them for the rigors of top-tier motorsport. Boya expressed his excitement, calling it a "dream come true" to learn from a team with such ambition.
