Formula 1 and the FIA have officially announced the 2026 F1 World Championship calendar, featuring an ambitious 24-round season. This new schedule coincides with the introduction of groundbreaking technical regulations and the use of 100% advanced sustainable fuels, marking a significant new era for the sport. The season will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6-8, and conclude in Abu Dhabi from December 4-6. A key change sees the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix moved to April due to Ramadan. The calendar also boasts an improved geographical flow, with the Canadian Grand Prix now following Miami in May, enhancing freight efficiencies. A consolidated European leg will run through the summer, including Madrid's highly anticipated debut from September 11-13. The championship will then return to Asia before a triple-header in the Americas, concluding with races in Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali, alongside FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, expressed excitement for the new regulations, the addition of Madrid, and the involvement of major automotive brands like Audi, Cadillac, and Ford, all contributing to what promises to be an unforgettable and sustainable season for millions of fans worldwide.
