McLaren reveal chrome livery for Silverstone

McLaren is set to revive its iconic chrome livery at this weekend's British Grand Prix, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri's cars sporting a new iteration of the fan-favorite design. This special paint scheme pays homage to the distinctive chrome look seen on McLaren cars in the mid-2000s, famously raced by legends like Kimi Räikkönen, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Lewis Hamilton. The reveal took place at a McLaren Racing Live event in London's Trafalgar Square, attended by both drivers and development driver Alex Dunne. This follows previous special liveries, including a similar chrome design at last year's British GP and the 'Triple Crown' and 'Riviera' liveries. The move is expected to excite fans with a nostalgic nod to the team's rich history.
