Norris signs new McLaren deal until end of 2030

2025 World Champion Lando Norris has signed a landmark contract extension with McLaren, securing his place with the British team until at least the end of 2030. Having joined the team in 2017 and earned a promotion to the race seat in 2019, Norris has become the most experienced driver in McLaren's history, securing 13 Grand Prix wins, 18 pole positions, and the 2025 Drivers' Championship. Expressing his dedication to the team, Norris noted that his journey over the last nine years has been centered on returning McLaren to the front of the grid. McLaren CEO Zak Brown and Team Principal Andrea Stella both lauded the extension, emphasizing Norris's role in the team's 'papaya era' of success, which includes consecutive constructors' titles in 2024 and 2025. This deal establishes long-term stability for McLaren alongside teammate Oscar Piastri, who is under contract through 2028.
