Lando Norris secured pole position for the Miami Sprint, driving his upgraded McLaren to a 1m 27.869s lap in SQ3. This marks the first time this season a driver outside of the Mercedes team has topped a qualifying session. Kimi Antonelli followed in second place with Oscar Piastri in third, while Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen rounded out the top five. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton struggled to find pace in their final runs, finishing sixth and seventh respectively.
