Hamilton delighted with ‘mega start’ in Singapore Sprint

Lewis Hamilton delivered a stellar performance during the Singapore Sprint, rocketing from sixth on the grid to finish second behind Max Verstappen. Capitalizing on wet conditions and a brilliant opening lap, Hamilton overtook both McLarens and his Ferrari team mate Charles Leclerc, later benefiting from George Russell's retirement. Reflecting on the race, Hamilton expressed his love for driving in the rain and noted that while closing the gap was promising, overtaking remains difficult at Marina Bay. He remains confident that a stronger qualifying session can put Ferrari in a position to challenge Mercedes and Red Bull for victory. Meanwhile, team mate Charles Leclerc battled severe tyre degradation and balance issues in the second half of the Sprint. Despite struggling as the track dried, Leclerc managed to secure the final podium spot after a dramatic last-lap collision between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
