Refinements to 2026 F1 regulations agreed by all stakeholders

F1 is set to introduce regulation refinements starting from the Miami Grand Prix following an agreement between the FIA, teams, power unit manufacturers, and FOM. These adjustments were developed through consultations with technical representatives and driver feedback based on data from the opening rounds in Australia, China, and Japan. The proposed changes, covering four key areas, will be implemented from the Miami Grand Prix, with specific race start modifications subject to a trial and feedback process. The final proposals are currently awaiting approval through an FIA World Motor Sport Council e-vote before officially taking effect.
