Verstappen beats Leclerc to pole position for Singapore GP

Max Verstappen secured his first-ever pole position at the Singapore Grand Prix, edging out Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton during a thrilling qualifying session at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Despite Hamilton leading the pace in Q1 and Q2, Verstappen delivered a stellar 1m 31.373s lap to claim P1. Leclerc finished just 0.054s behind in second, with Hamilton settling for third after failing to improve on his final run. Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris rounded out the top five, while George Russell took sixth ahead of Oscar Piastri and Pierre Gasly. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad completed the top ten for Racing Bulls. Further down the grid, drivers like Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, and Alex Albon struggled to make headway, while Isack Hadjar suffered a disastrous session at the back of the field due to ongoing reliability issues with his Red Bull.
