Bottas predicts Austria will be ‘real test’ of upgrades
Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez are optimistic that Cadillac’s substantial upgrade package, featuring new sidepods, bodywork, and floor, will help the team bridge the performance gap to the midfield at the Austrian Grand Prix. Bottas, having faced reliability struggles in the last two races, is particularly focused on ensuring the car can handle the high-temperature demands of the Red Bull Ring.
While Perez noted improvements in operational efficiency, he highlighted that tyre management remains a key area for growth. The team is confident that these upgrades, combined with enhanced cooling solutions for both the engine and brakes, will provide a crucial test of their progress in challenging conditions.
