Bortoleto ‘convinced’ Sauber can fight back after Azerbaijan

Kick Sauber endured a challenging, point-less weekend at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Gabriel Bortoleto finished 11th, narrowly missing points, and acknowledged the Baku City Circuit’s tight, twisty nature did not play to the C45’s strengths. Despite missing a top-10 finish, the Brazilian rookie took positives from maximizing the car's potential without damage, expressing confidence in better performance on more suitable tracks. Meanwhile, teammate Nico Hulkenberg, starting 17th after a Q1 exit, could only climb to 16th. His race was hampered by an early collision with Esteban Ocon and a long first stint stuck behind Lance Stroll, preventing him from making significant progress. Kick Sauber remains eighth in the Constructors' Championship standings.
