Why some F1 teams are still set to hit the track in April

Although there are no official F1 races in April, Pirelli's development testing programme continues to keep several teams active. Following the rescheduling of the Middle East races, the calendar has a significant break between Japan and Miami. Despite this gap, teams are busy testing: Red Bull and Racing Bulls recently concluded testing at Suzuka with Isack Hadjar, Liam Lawson, and Arvid Lindblad. Further tests are scheduled, including a wet-tyre test for Ferrari at Fiorano on April 9-10, followed by a dry-tyre test for Mercedes and McLaren at the Nurburgring on April 14-15, ahead of the season resuming in Miami in May.
