Aston Martin sign Paatz for 2026 F1 ACADEMY campaign

Aston Martin has announced that German talent Mathilda Paatz will represent the team in the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season. The 17-year-old, who made her series debut as a Wild Card in Montreal this year, secured the coveted spot after a rigorous four-driver evaluation program at Mugello, where she emerged as the fastest and most consistent. Paatz will compete with PREMA Racing and simultaneously join Aston Martin’s Driver Academy, marking a significant step in her burgeoning career.
