Bahrain and Saudi Arabian GPs will not take place in April
Formula 1 has officially announced the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix scheduled for April due to the ongoing regional situation in the Middle East. No replacement races will be added to the calendar for that period, and support series including Formula 2, Formula 3, and F1 ACADEMY have also been affected.
F1 President Stefano Domenicali and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem emphasized that this difficult decision was made to prioritize safety, with both expressing their commitment to returning to these venues when conditions allow. Local promoters in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have voiced their full support for this decision, affirming their ongoing partnership with Formula 1.
