Everything you need to know about the Suzuka Circuit
The Suzuka Circuit remains one of the most beloved tracks in Formula 1, renowned for its challenging figure-eight layout, high-speed sectors, and iconic corners like the 130R. Originally established as a test track, it has hosted numerous championship deciders and historic battles, including the legendary clashes between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.
Technological regulations for this weekend introduce 'Straight Mode' and 'Overtake Mode'. Straight Mode automatically adjusts aerodynamic configurations in specific zones to reduce drag and boost top speed. Overtake Mode replaces the traditional DRS, allowing drivers to deploy an extra electrical power boost when within one second of the car ahead, providing a dynamic new tactical element to the racing at Suzuka.
