Fornaroli dominates to take maiden F2 victory

Leonardo Fornaroli secured his maiden Formula 2 victory in a thrilling Silverstone Sprint Race, converting pole position into a dominant performance. The Invicta Racing driver briefly lost the lead to Kush Maini at the start but swiftly reclaimed it with a superb overtake on Lap 1. Fornaroli then pulled away, crossing the line to claim his first win of the season and a significant home victory for Invicta. PREMA Racing's Sebastián Montoya fought impressively from sixth to second, while Roman Stanek ensured a double podium for Invicta by taking third. A post-race penalty saw Luke Browning drop, promoting Championship leader Richard Verschoor and Victor Martins, who will start Sunday's Feature Race from pole.
