The top 10 drivers of 2025 – as chosen by the drivers

Max Verstappen has been crowned Drivers' Driver of the Year for an unprecedented fifth consecutive time, topping an exclusive poll among his peers. This comes despite narrowly missing out on the 2025 F1 World Championship to Lando Norris. Norris, the reigning champion, secured second place in the driver rankings, with George Russell completing the podium after a superb season yielding two wins. Oscar Piastri, despite leading the championship earlier, finished fourth. Notable entries include Carlos Sainz (6th) and Fernando Alonso (7th), while rookies Oliver Bearman (9th) and Isack Hadjar (10th) impressed. Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton missed the top 10 for the first time.
