Genesis Magma Racing achieved its best FIA WEC result of the 2026 season at Lone Star Le Mans, finishing seventh with the #17 car after a resilient recovery drive from André Lotterer, Pipo Derani, and Mathys Jaubert. Despite an early spin and penalty for Lotterer, the team executed a bold tyre strategy to climb the order, while the sister #19 entry finished 15th without mechanical issues. Sporting Director Gabriele Tarquini expressed optimism, noting that the team's reliability and competitiveness in the Hypercar class provide a strong foundation for the final three races.
