Hamilton insists he ‘still loves racing’ despite struggles
Despite a challenging Hungarian Grand Prix where he dropped out in Q2 and failed to score points, Lewis Hamilton insists he still loves Formula 1. The seven-time World Champion described his Hungary weekend as a "big struggle," even controversially suggesting Ferrari "probably need to change driver" after qualifying, a comment he later declined to elaborate on, citing "a lot going on in the background."
Starting and finishing 12th, Hamilton expressed eagerness for the summer break. Despite recent difficulties, his contributions have helped Ferrari secure second place in the Teams’ Championship. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali voiced strong support for Hamilton, calling him "a jewel" and confident he will " triumph again" in his pursuit of an eighth title.
