Mekies insists Red Bull will not swap Tsunoda for Hadjar in 2025

Red Bull Team Principal Laurent Mekies has definitively stated there are no immediate plans to swap Yuki Tsunoda with rising star Isack Hadjar before the season concludes. Despite Hadjar's impressive maiden campaign, which saw him become the youngest Frenchman to achieve an F1 podium at the Dutch Grand Prix, Mekies emphasized stability. While Tsunoda, who moved to Red Bull earlier this season, has faced challenges matching Max Verstappen, he recently ended a seven-race point drought and is showing positive signs. Mekies affirmed that the team is "relaxed" about driver decisions, highlighting their ample talent pool and lack of urgency for in-season changes, allowing both drivers to continue their development.
