This session was notable for featuring a significant number of rookie drivers, with nine out of ten teams giving their junior talent a run-out. Only Kick Sauber maintained their regular line-up, where Nico Hülkenberg secured a strong third position. Arvid Lindblad, driving Max Verstappen's Red Bull, emerged as the fastest rookie, placing sixth overall.
