Manthey targeting first win of season in Japan

Following a strong second-place finish at the Lone Star Le Mans, the Manthey team is preparing to chase its first victory of the 2026 FIA WEC season at the upcoming 6 Hours of Fuji. Although the #91 Porsche 911 GT3 R narrowly missed the win in Texas due to a five-second penalty, the result moved drivers James Cottingham, Timur Boguslavskiy, and Ayhancan Güven into contention for the LMGT3 title. The team remains focused on the championship fight with three races left, as the #92 car currently sits just one point behind its sister #91 entry in the overall standings.
