LMGT3 Mid-Season Review: Corvette trio take charge

In the LMGT3 class, Jonny Edgar leads the drivers' standings, narrowly ahead of teammates Nicky Catsburg and Ben Keating, following a strong performance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. While TF Sport and Team WRT have secured significant results, Garage 59’s championship debut was notable, as they quickly bounced back from a heart-breaking late-race failure at Imola to secure a win at Spa-Francorchamps. BMW and Corvette are currently locked in a tight battle at the top of the standings, while Manthey’s Porsche 911 GT3 R remains a consistent threat despite having yet to secure a victory this year. Other teams, including Akkodis ASP with their Lexus entries and the Ferrari of VISTA AF Corse, continue to collect points, while Proton Competition’s Ford and Iron Lynx’s Mercedes-AMG are looking to break into the podium spots as the final four rounds approach.
