Bearman reflects on ‘costly mistakes’ in first half of rookie season

As F1 heads into its summer break, Haas rookie Ollie Bearman reflected on the first half of his debut season, admitting to "costly mistakes" while also acknowledging "missed opportunities" for the team. Despite these challenges, Bearman, who made his full-time debut after impressive 'super-sub' appearances for Ferrari and Haas, has accumulated eight points, currently sitting 19th in the Drivers' Championship. He's scored on four occasions, including three double points finishes alongside teammate Esteban Ocon. Bearman believes the current crop of rookies are exceptionally well-prepared, attributing this to extensive simulator work and reserve driver experience. He aims for more points in the second half of the season.
