Stevens stars as Cadillac repeats São Paulo pole in ultra-close qualifying

In a dramatic Hyperpole session at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Cadillac's Stevens secured pole position, narrowly beating teammate Jack Aitken by 0.048 seconds. This marks the fourth different pole-sitter in as many races this season. Alpine showed strong pace with rookies Victor Martins and Charles Milesi securing impressive grid positions, while Genesis Magma Racing continued their steady progress with Mathieu Jaminet qualifying sixth. Meanwhile, it was a challenging day for the championship leaders. Toyota struggled throughout the session, with both cars failing to advance past the initial qualifying stage, ultimately starting 14th and 16th. Ferrari's best effort came from Antonio Fuoco in seventh, while the rest of the field prepares for a tight contest at the upcoming 6 Hours of São Paulo, set to take place this Sunday.
