Albon predicts a ‘dogfight’ for midfield supremacy in 2025
Williams drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz endured a challenging Hungarian Grand Prix, finishing 15th and 14th respectively and failing to score points for the first time in three races.
Albon described the remainder of the 2025 season as a "dogfight" for midfield positions, acknowledging Williams' struggles on high-downforce circuits like Hungary. Despite maintaining fifth in the Constructors' Championship, their advantage is under pressure.
Sainz also expressed disappointment with the first half of the season. With no further car updates planned, Williams faces a tough battle to hold onto their current standing against increasingly competitive midfield rivals like Aston Martin, Racing Bulls, and Kick Sauber.
