‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ – Piastri after Sprint win

Oscar Piastri secured his third Sprint victory in Qatar, fending off George Russell and Lando Norris. Starting from pole, Piastri maintained his lead throughout the 19-lap race, demonstrating strong pace and control. The McLaren driver expressed satisfaction with his performance, attributing it to the circuit's high-speed, high-grip characteristics and a smoother weekend compared to recent challenging rounds. His teammate Lando Norris, who finished third, acknowledged the difficulty of overtaking on the Lusail International Circuit and emphasized the importance of qualifying for the main race. Norris also noted the need for setup adjustments to improve his confidence with the car, aiming for a stronger performance in the upcoming sessions. Piastri's win puts him firmly in contention for the 2025 Drivers’ Championship.
