Hamilton suggested a need for clearer communication and internal rules, while Barretto argued that Team Principal Fred Vasseur must now facilitate difficult, honest conversations with both drivers to prevent future incidents. Valsecchi expressed deep disappointment, noting that the team's inability to manage their own drivers in front of home fans highlighted the current disarray. Furthermore, Valsecchi pointed out that Ferrari remains significantly behind Mercedes in terms of pure performance. Even with a restart during the race, Ferrari lacked the pace to challenge the leaders, while the strength of the Mercedes power unit continues to pose a formidable threat. Barretto concluded that while Vasseur is well-equipped to handle driver management due to his long-standing relationships with both Leclerc and Hamilton, the team must urgently address their internal protocols to salvage the remainder of the season.
