Bearman ‘sad’ after failing to score in Italy
Haas endured a challenging Italian Grand Prix, failing to score points despite a split strategy attempt.
Ollie Bearman, starting on mediums, showed pace but a late collision with Carlos Sainz earned him a 10-second penalty, dropping him to 12th. He expressed regret, believing points were possible without the incident.
Esteban Ocon, on hard tyres, aimed for a Safety Car but a five-second penalty for an earlier tussle with Lance Stroll, combined with a very late pit stop on the penultimate lap, relegated him from ninth to 15th. Haas remains ninth in the Constructors' Standings, now 11 points behind Kick Sauber.
